For Mayra and Marco, love meant time zones, transatlantic flights and learning that the right connection doesn’t care much about geography. They married first in Switzerland, then brought the celebration to True Bride Mayra’s home in Peru — a full-circle moment surrounded by two cultures, two families and one very full dance floor.
For her wedding, Mayra knew that her dream dress had to keep up with her on the dance floor, and she found just that in the All Who Wander briar gown — light, feminine and exactly herself.

MAYRA, TELL US ABOUT YOUR PARTNER. HOW DID YOU MEET?
What started as a simple match quickly turned into something much deeper. From the beginning, our story was shaped by distance: I’m Peruvian, Marco is Swiss, and for a long time our relationship lived between countries, time zones and flights.
Despite the distance, the connection was always strong. It reminded us that sometimes love doesn’t understand languages, borders or geography — it simply finds its way through every obstacle.
WHAT WAS YOUR PROPOSAL LIKE?
The proposal was intimate and meaningful, just the two of us, true to who we are as a couple.

DESCRIBE YOUR BRIDAL STYLE.
I wanted to look natural and refined, still feeling like myself, not disguised or over-styled. My dream was to wear a dress that felt light, feminine and modern, with clean lines and subtle details that spoke quietly.
TELL US ABOUT YOUR DRESS SHOPPING EXPERIENCE AT TRUE SOCIETY.
I shopped at True Society in Zug. The All Who Wander briar gown was love at first try-on. It had the perfect balance of simplicity and sophistication and moved beautifully with me. My dress felt true to my personality and the setting of our wedding.
HOW DID YOU FEEL IN YOUR GOWN ON YOUR WEDDING DAY?
On my wedding day, I felt confident, comfortable and genuinely beautiful. I could laugh, dance and enjoy every moment without thinking about the dress — it simply became part of me. It made the day feel even more special.

HOW DID MARCO REACT WHEN HE SAW YOU IN YOUR WEDDING DRESS?
When he saw me in my wedding dress, his reaction was everything. He later told me that the dress was exactly how he had always imagined me — completely myself. Seeing that look in his eyes is a moment I’ll never forget.
TELL US MORE ABOUT YOUR WEDDING.
Our wedding was a true celebration of love, culture and joy. We chose to celebrate in my home country, Peru, because our civil wedding had already taken place in Switzerland almost three years earlier. This day felt full circle — celebrating with my family, my roots and the place where I come from.
We worked with a wedding planner, which allowed us to truly enjoy the day, be present in every moment and focus on what mattered most — celebrating with the people we love.
DID YOU INCORPORATE ANY SPECIAL, CULTURAL OR FAMILY TRADITIONS?
We wanted the wedding to feel deeply personal and unmistakably Peruvian. There was incredible food, endless music and lots of dancing — the kind of celebration where everyone is on the dance floor, and the night simply flows. Sharing Peruvian culture with our friends and family from abroad made it even more meaningful.

WHAT WAS THE MOST SPECIAL MEMORY FROM THE DAY?
One of the most special memories was seeing all our worlds come together in one place: Swiss and Peruvian families, different languages, different traditions, all celebrating the same love.
