My partner and I met at a party in college during our studies at Oregon State University in 2014. He was studying mechanical engineering, and I was in the microbiology program. We are both from Latin America, he is from Brazil, and I am from Puerto Rico, so we connected right away. With time we have become best friends and have traveled the world together. Daniel proposed at my grandparents’ home in Puerto Rico

I wanted to look classy and elegant… And that’s exactly how I felt on my wedding day. Martina Liana Style 1171 also showed my figure, which I loved. Very few wedding dresses can make you feel elegant, classy, and sexy at the same time, but this dress did it!
I loved working with my True Crew bridal specialist at True Society by The White Dress – Portland. She made me feel heard and created a fun experience for my family and me.

I know everyone says this, but my wedding day was truly one of the best days of my life. It started a little rocky because we were staying on a property with my family and his, which is like 20 people. However, after the ceremony started, we let the stress go. The moment we saw each other, it all disappeared at once. He is not usually a romantic, but on our wedding day, he didn’t hold back.
I wanted our wedding to feel classic and romantic. I made that possible by including a lot of candles and choosing colors like champagne, gold, and dark green — as well as chandeliers and vintage sofas for the seating area.
