Store Manager

Elesha brings more than two decades of fashion and bridal experience to True Society–so she knows a thing or two about wedding dresses. In her free time, Elesha loves to travel, attend concerts and take her miniature schnauzer, Luna, to the park. As the Store Manager of True Society’s Lenexa store, Elesha is honored to be a part of each bride’s special moment finding a dress. She just loves seeing the look on their faces when they’ve found “the one.”

Morgan

Customer Experience Manager

Morgan, the Customer Experience Manager, loves making connections and building relationships with True Brides-to-be! She encourages brides to enjoy the special time with their fiancé. After all, it is their celebration!

Outside of work, you can find Morgan exploring the outdoors, hiking and kayaking. She also enjoys spending time with her family, her boyfriend and their dog, Tuukka!

She loves traveling, going out to eat and spending time with her family. Monica’s advice to brides is when you start looking at wedding gowns, be sure you’re mentally prepared to find THE dress.

As a Bridal Stylist, Macy loves seeing the look on a bride’s face when they know they’ve found the dress for their big day. Her best advice for brides is to bring their hype team to their appointment!

When should I buy my wedding dress?

We recommend starting the wedding dress shopping process nine months to one year prior to your wedding date, so you can avoid rush fees and enjoy the experience!

What is the standard order/ship time once I order a dress?

It takes approximately four to six months for a wedding dress to arrive, depending on the designer. Please take this into consideration when scheduling your appointment. Once your gown arrives, you should also allow six to eight weeks for alterations before the wedding. We recommend starting the wedding dress shopping process nine months to one year prior to your wedding date, so you can avoid rush fees and enjoy the experience!

For bridesmaid dresses, plan to allow three to four months for shipping and one to two months for alterations.

What size wedding dresses do you have in store? Do you carry plus size gowns?

We have samples in a wide variety of sizes from 2-34 in-store, with more than 50 of those samples in sizes 18-34 ready for you to try on.

Where can I find parking for the bridal shop?

Our building is located just off I-35 and 119th Street in the Waterside Office Park, with designated #TrueBride parking available in the east lot (facing Santa Fe Trail Drive and I-35) and handicap and mother-to-be parking in the west lot.

Do you carry bridal accessories?

Yes! From veils to bridal jackets, jewelry, belts and hair accessories–we offer a wide variety of bridal accessories to pair with any wedding dress you choose. We have everything you need to create a personalized wedding day look to complement your personal style, and our stylists are happy to help you choose the right accessories for your wedding dress at your appointment.

Do you carry bridesmaid dresses?

Yes, we are a proud retailer of Sorella Vita and carry a wide range of sizes (up to size 28) and colors from which to choose. If you schedule a bridesmaid appointment at our bridal shop, you will also have access to our luxurious Bridesmaid Suite—with individual fitting rooms for your ‘maids to enjoy their own private try-on session!
