NATHALIA, TELL US ABOUT YOUR PARTNER. HOW DID YOU MEET?
Patrick and I met in college at Baker University, where he played soccer and I played tennis. Some of our mutual friends introduced us. I made the first move, but we always joke that it all started with a high five because when we first met, I just went in for a high five, and he matched my energy so well.
While we were in college, we would always just hang out at the lake near campus, bond about our families being similar, talk about the dogs we wanted to have and we just became best friends.
WHAT WAS THE PROPOSAL LIKE?
Flash forward seven years, and we had the two dogs we had been dreaming about since college, and he finally proposed! It was on a whim in our home with just us. I was caught completely off guard. I was SO surprised. Patrick was also so happy to have orchestrated such a big surprise. After I said yes, we celebrated with our friends!

We hosted a destination wedding in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, for 60 people! It was the best decision we’ve ever made. Patrick and I met in college, so it was a little reunion of all our closest college besties and our immediate family members. We were able to have a small vacation as a group and celebrate for a whole week.
WHAT WAS THE MOST SPECIAL MEMORY?
The day before the wedding ceremony, we hosted a welcome party on a boat where we saw the rock arches and so many whales. It was the highlight of the entire trip.
