This dreamy love celebration on the French island La Réunion gives us all the vacation-feels. Newlyweds Charlotte and Ramona tied the knot after both “swiping right” on Tinder back in 2021. The couple exchanged their beautiful vows in front of 100 cherished guests and picturesque island scenery.
Charlotte, a professional dancer and choreographer, danced the night away in Martina Liana Style 1137, a glamorous, effortless gown with beaded details and floral lace that swept her off her feet at True Society in Zug. Ramona, a Swiss national team and Paris Saint-Germain professional soccer player, wore a luxurious white suit for the ceremony.

CHARLOTTE, TELL US ABOUT YOUR LOVE STORY.
Ramona and I matched on Tinder during the COVID-19 pandemic. Both of us were about to delete the dating app, but then we met each other.
The sunset proposal in Greece was amazing! Ramona prepared everything from rose petals on the pool, lots of candles and a dinner with a chef to a videographer and a photographer capturing the unforgettable moment, it was very emotional and beautiful. Just like a dream!
DESCRIBE YOUR BRIDAL STYLE. TELL US ABOUT YOUR DRESS SHOPPING EXPERIENCE.
I was looking for a long, classy wedding gown with an open back that didn’t have too much of a princess-feel to it.
The reaction from my best friend and my mother- and sister-in-law made Martina Liana Style 1137 the one. I loved the details on my dress and felt amazing walking in it! I could even remove the train for the party. The dress shopping experience at True Society in Zug was very personalized and well thought through. I loved that I got to try on so many dresses that matched my vision until I found the perfect one. The True Crew was very nice and we celebrated with champagne once I chose the wedding dress.
Ramona cried when she saw me in my wedding dress at the ceremony!
IN YOUR OWN WORDS, TELL US MORE ABOUT YOUR WEDDING.
Our wedding took place on La Réunion in France with 100 guests. La Réunion has earned its name, because it’s full of different religions, beliefs, traditions and cultures, just like our wedding. So, it made complete sense to us.
Ramona arrived in a Hummer stretch limousine with her bridesmaids and I arrived in a white vintage convertible. We had a neutral pastel color scheme, so our bridesmaids wore champagne dresses.
For our vows, we followed a special Indian tradition, where we made our promises with colored ribbons and wrapped them around each other. Each color represented a virtue.
Our parents and bridesmaids gave speeches. During the aperitif, we had a band and our friends and family sang for us. We also set up board games and a soccer game for our guests to have fun and shoot penalty kicks. After the aperitif, we had our couple pictures taken and then all our guests joined us for dinner.
We entered the dinner with a special playlist we created. The dinner was delicious with creole food from the island. Later, we thanked everyone and had our first dance.
The most special memories of the wedding were our vows and the first dance.
Cheers to Charlotte & Ramona!
