Yuhan and I met online. We instantly connected and bonded over our shared interests and goals. For our first date, Yuhan took me to a Mexican restaurant back in our hometown. We couldn’t stop talking—the waitress had to circle back to our table three times before we had even looked at the menu!
WHAT WAS YOUR PROPOSAL LIKE?
Yuhan proposed during a trip to Dallas. One evening, he took me line dancing and pulled me away from the music and dancing to ask me if I would be his dance partner for life. Of course, I said “yes!”

For my wedding dress, I envisioned a princess ballgown with a corset-inspired bodice. I wanted something elegant and sexy, and that’s exactly what I found. Getting to wear my dress, even for the short time during my fittings and on my wedding day, was amazing. I had never felt more beautiful.

When Yuhan saw me in my wedding dress, he was smiling from ear to ear. He has always had an amazing smile but this day it was the biggest grin I had ever seen from him, like a kid in a candy story.

Our wedding was a fairytale. We incorporated so many small details that felt like us, from gold and pink accents to our favorite song from Disney’s Elemental at our recessional. We also included traditions like a sibling dance and a bouquet toss.
WHAT WAS THE MOST SPECIAL MEMORY FROM THE DAY?
My favorite memory was our grand entrance. Our wedding party created a tunnel for us to run through, and it seamlessly transitioned into our first dance as a married couple.
