True Bride Dorothea & Thomas

Sparks were flying at Dorothea and Thomas’ fairy tale wedding! When the couple first met online back in 2018, they didn’t know that their dreamy anniversary proposal would turn into a magical fire show on their most special day.

Dorothea walked gracefully down the castle aisle in Stella York Style 7548. The romantic princess ballgown immediately swept her away at True Society in Vienna.

Surrounded by their loved ones, the couple danced until dawn. Our True Bride’s fur baby also made a memorable appearance at the wedding. Check out the stunning pictures below and prepare to be enchanted by this Viennese romance!

DOROTHEA, TELL US YOUR LOVE STORY.

We met online back in 2018. The proposal took place in 2022 on our anniversary at the castle Wilhelminenberg in Wien, Austria, where we also had our first date. Thomas had prepared a large box of balloons and roses in front of the Viennese panorama. I said yes right away!

DESCRIBE YOUR BRIDAL STYLE. WHAT DID YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT WORKING WITH OUR TRUE CREW?

I wanted a princess dress with glitter and baroque lace, preferably with a blush undertone, to match our location. I was very nervous about whether I would find something suitable. The selection at True Society in Vienna was huge and I felt well-advised and in good hands. After trying on four dresses, I browsed through the other gowns and found my dress, Stella York Style 7548. When I put it on, I immediately felt very comfortable and beautiful! My bridal stylist also found the perfect matching veil to complete the look.

IN YOUR OWN WORDS, TELL US MORE ABOUT YOUR WEDDING.

Our wedding ceremony took place in the chapel of Hetzendorf Palace in Vienna. My mother walked me down the aisle with my maid of honor. Family and friends read readings and intercessions and sang for us. After the ceremony, there was an aperitif in the castle’s assembly hall before we went into the ballroom for the celebration. We also held a tombola, a fun lottery-style raffle, where our guests could win 12 experiences with me and Thomas during our first year of marriage.

After our wedding dance, we had a fire show in the garden, where we were allowed to use a flamethrower ourselves. On our wedding cake was a little Shih Tzu made from edible paper, representing our dog. We danced until dawn on our big day.

Cheers to Dorothea and Thomas!
