Manuel and I met eight years ago on the dance floor in a club. At first, we were inseparable friends for a few months. When he proposed at Lake Como in Italy after seven years, I was over the moon.

I went for the Old Hollywood bridal style. This classic, sophisticated diva look of my wedding dress Essense of Australia Style D3634 just speaks to me. As an American, it certainly has something to do with my roots.

When Manuel saw me in my dress, he was amazed. When I walked into the church, my veil got caught on the church carpet. Manuel and I are both a bit clumsy, so we were able to laugh about it.
The wedding had an Italian touch as we love to visit Lake Maggiore in Italy every year. The best moment of the wedding was my brother’s self-made slide show, the dancing in the evening and the ride home in our car.
