A sample gown is a designer wedding dress that has been tried on in store and has been lovingly cared for. All sample gowns have been inspected to ensure quality, but some gowns will show signs of wear. Our stylists will provide recommendations on how they can be repaired in alterations.

When is the Sample Sale and what stores are participating?
The Sample Sale is September 9-15 for participating True Society locations including Beaverton, Fitzroy, Grand Rapids, Kansas City, Lenexa, Mesa, Perth, Portland, Vienna, Stuttgart, Hamburg and Zug.
Do I need an appointment to shop the Sample Sale?
Yes! Sample Sale appointments are needed to shop the sale. We recommend booking a Sample Sale appointment online as soon as possible as gowns and appointments will go fast! Feel free to also call the store to book an appointment to see if any last-minute or same-day appointments are available.
How do I book a Sample Sale appointment?
Sample Sale appointments can be booked online or by calling the store. Click HERE to book an appointment.
How will the gowns be priced?
Select gowns will be up to 70% off and prices may vary by store location.
The discount percentage depends on how long the dress has been in the store, as well as the quality and condition of the gown. Dress prices will also vary.
Can I take my dress home the same day as my appointment?
Yes, you will need to take your dress the same day. As such, the gown must be paid in full on the same day.
Can the store hold my dress if I am unsure I want to purchase it?
Since Sample Sale gowns are limited, stores are unable to hold a gown for a bride.
Will I need to pay in full for my gown on the day of my appointment?
Yes, since these gowns are taken home the day of the appointment, the gown must be paid for in full.
Can I schedule a standard bridal appointment during the Sample Sale?
Yes, the store will have its standard variety and inventory of gowns available. If you are interested in shopping our Sample Sale, please book a Sample Sale Bridal Appointment.
Will accessories and bridesmaids be included in the Sample Sale?
This will vary by store. Select stores will have discounted accessories and bridesmaids’ gowns available. We recommend calling your store to determine what will be offered.
Since it is a sample dress are cleaning and alteration services provided?
We do not offer cleaning or alteration services. However, if you would like to have your dress professionally cleaned or altered, we can provide you with a few recommended vendors.
Do you offer returns or exchanges?
All sales are final. No returns or exchanges.
Are dresses in the Sample Sale available for order?
Select dresses in the Sample Sale may be available to be ordered in a different size or color. Only the specific dresses included in the sale will be at a reduced price, so if you place an order for a gown, it will be at the regular price.
In addition to the Sample Sale gowns, you can also shop our regularly priced gowns at a range of price points. We have a large selection of these gowns that have short shipping time frames, too.
Will I have a dedicated stylist like other bridal appointments?
Yes, each appointment includes time with an expert bridal stylist in a bridal fitting room.
Can I contact someone at the store before my appointment?
Yes, you will receive a call from us prior to your appointment. You can also call the store if you have any questions.
Can I still bring guests?
Yes, you can bring guests to your Sample Sale appointment.
