Calling all brides-to-be! The ultimate bridal experience is expanding in the Phoenix area! True Society is thrilled to announce we are opening a SECOND location – this time in Peoria! More dreams, more dresses and more ways for brides in the Valley to experience the magic of True Society!
Located in the West Valley’s Park West Shopping Center, it will be a positive, inclusive destination for brides of a variety of shapes, sizes and styles! We’re planning a fall store opening.
Meet the owners!
Store owners Shayna and Scott Clute know a thing or two about making dress dreams come true. With more than a decade of experience in the bridal industry, they relocated to Arizona a couple years ago to open their first True Society bridal boutique in Mesa. Their initial success has inspired them to expand their reach and provide even more brides in the Phoenix area with the opportunity to find the perfect dress.
Get to know Shayna as we spoke to her about the newest store, what to expect and some great advice for brides-to-be.
True Society came to the Phoenix-area just two years ago with your Mesa store! What do you attribute to your success in Arizona?
“So many brides, people in the community and local vendors have been so welcoming and supportive over the last two years. We have kept the vision and focus to be about the bride, their journey and experience of finding their perfect dress while being by their side to celebrate this life moment!”
We’re so excited for you to bring that vision to even more Phoenix-area brides! Tell us about your Peoria store. What can brides in the area expect from True Society?
“We want to ensure all the details – from little to big – are on point for our brides’ experience in our stores and this store will not disappoint! We love that when a bride arrives to Park West Shopping Center, they can make a full day of it, from brunch at Hash Kitchen, shopping at Athletica to lunch at The Vig after finding their dress!”
SO many great shopping options. Truly a great location to make their wedding dress shopping that much more fun! Speaking of…True Society touts “the ultimate bridal experience.” What do you think sets True Society apart from other bridal stores?
“Everybody a part of our #TrueCrew (what we call our bridal stylists!) really is committed to our promise of giving our bride the best experience, education and journey. We want to make sure this life moment is protected and celebrated!”
Love this. Ok, let’s talk about how awesome your job is! What a dream business to be a part of! What do you love most about working with brides?
“I love when they relax and enjoy the journey of finding their dress and the moment when they can see themselves walking down the aisle in their dress. Their eyes have a little sparkle.”
Ah, the sparkle. It’s so great when that happens! What’s your best piece of advice for brides-to-be shopping for a wedding dress?
“Keep an open mind and really trust the journey your bridal stylist takes you on. Also don’t over shop! Visit one to three stores MAX (make sure True Society is one of them!) – you can lose that special moment and experience if you keep going from store to store. It’s exhausting and will just make you stressed and frustrated.”
Great advice. I can imagine brides can get swept up in trying on so many dresses if they go to too many stores. Speaking of dresses, this season’s trends are SO good. What wedding dress trend are you loving the most right now?
“I am loving the “Bridgerton” and “Marie Antoinette” inspired looks, it’s totally my vibe! I’m a romantic at heart.”
We totally agree! Romantic vibes are strong right now and we are here for it. Tell us about your own romance! We hear you’ve been married to your husband Scott for more than 20 years now! What marriage advice do you have for your brides-to-be’?
“Yes! 20 years this October! The real work begins after the wedding and once you start a family. Marriage is a lot of work but is the MOST important thing to focus on. Communicate clearly and often! Spend time together often, be willing to grow and explore together over the years. Be respectful and trust one another.”
Thank you for sharing and congrats on such an incredible anniversary! Finally, one more question! Tell us…if you and Scott renewed your vows, what dress would you wear today?
“I still love my dress and would not change a thing. BUT if we renewed our vows, I would wear a sexier style that had a bit of sparkle or lace. I am loving the drop waist, corseted bodice and slit.”
Ok, brides – if you, too, are loving the drop waist, corseted bodice – and let’s be honest – any of the stunning dresses offered by True Society, stay tuned for more details about the Peoria store and when you can book an appointment!
