From Highland sweethearts to lifelong partners: Danni and Dean’s intimate beach elopement in West Australia gives us all the summer feels.

Our True Bride’s aisle style reflected her desire for simplicity and elegance. Danni instantly knew Essense of Australia Style D3460 was the one after she spotted it at True Society by Tuscany Bridal in Perth. Her husband, Dean, couldn’t stop smiling when he saw her in the classic A-line gown with a bold leg slit that exudes pure Old Hollywood chic.

The couple celebrated their love amidst stunning ocean views, traditional Scottish kilts, and heartfelt moments with their son. Keep reading to fall in love with this dreamy wedding day.

DANNI, TELL US ABOUT YOUR PARTNER. HOW DID YOU MEET?

Dean and I grew up in the Highlands of Scotland and met at the only secondary school there. We dated as teenagers, but then went our separate ways. We bumped into each other many years later and it felt like home. We’ve now been together for 10 years. In that time, we’ve emigrated to Australia, bought our first Aussie home and had a baby.

IN YOUR OWN WORDS, TELL US MORE ABOUT YOUR WEDDING.

Our wedding day was intimate, beautiful and completely focused on our love. We eloped on Little Beach, Albany, in Western Australia. We are both Scottish, so Dean and our two-year-old son wore kilts. Dean was grinning from ear to ear when I walked down the aisle on the beach.

We were married by a celebrant while a musician played the guitar, and we gazed out at the ocean. It was all captured by our unbelievable local photographer.

There was no stress about seating plans or catering. We got to completely immerse ourselves in the moment and enjoy every second.

Cheers to Danni and Dean!
