True Bride Stephanie & Jeremiah

Stephanie and Jeremiah began their journey to forever in the charming small town of Krum, Texas. After meeting on a dating app, their immediate connection blossomed into a beautiful relationship that would lead them to their walk down the aisle to forever. Surrounded by family and friends, the couple said “I do” in the timeless and elegant Milestone Denton Mansion.

In a stunning ceremony, Stephanie floated down the aisle in the breathtaking Stella York Style 7585+. Following the ceremony, the couple and their guests took to the dance floor during the reception. With a surprise mother-daughter dance and a private last dance as husband and wife, their big day was nothing short of a dream come true.

STEPHANIE, TELL US ABOUT YOUR PARTNER.  HOW DID YOU MEET?

In total millennial fashion, Jeremiah and I met on Tinder. From the moment we swiped right, there was an instant connection.

Our first date was at Wonderspaces, an art exhibition museum in Austin, Texas. From our first date, we were inseparable. It was love at first sight, and he brought so much joy to my and my sisters’ lives. I have two little sisters and we are super close – right away, he got along with them so well!

We dated for three years, and the day after our third anniversary he popped the question! He took my sisters and I on a date, which is something he did often. He took us to Wonderspaces, where we had our first date. He claimed he had to go to the restroom and left me with one of my sisters. She guided me to a dark exhibit with shadows projecting on the walls. I walked in and he proposed! It was so perfect, and he did an amazing job!

DESCRIBE YOUR BRIDAL STYLE.

I really didn’t have the style of dress I was going for in mind, so I was open and willing to try anything. I wanted something super elegant and sleek and that’s exactly what I got! My dress was so perfect, and it even had pockets.

From the elegant buttons down the back of the dress, to the beautiful bling on my belt and veil, it was simply stunning! I felt the most beautiful I ever had on my wedding day in my dream dress.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR DRESS SHOPPING EXPERIENCE AT TRUE SOCIETY. WHAT DID YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT WORKING WITH OUR TRUE CREW?

To be completely honest, when I walked into the beautiful True Society in Mesa, I was instantly intimidated. Being a plus size bride, I didn’t think I was going to find a dress in my size.

As soon as I talked with the True Crew, they made me feel so much more comfortable! My stylist Marcia was amazing and played a huge part in reassuring me that they had a variety of dresses in my size and did a fantastic job showing me the different styles of dresses. She walked me through the store and helped me pick out a couple to try on.

The very first dress I tried on was the one! I did try multiple dresses on but kept going back to that first one. That last time I tried it on, I just knew it was my dress! My True Crew stylist helped me style it right away with my dream veil and belt. I did add h custom sleeves made by another seamstress to fit my vision, which made my dress perfect. Thank you to the True Crew for giving me the ultimate bridal experience!

IN YOUR OWN WORDS, TELL US MORE ABOUT YOUR WEDDING.

My wedding day was a dream come true! The beautiful venue was amazingly decorated. It was so much fun to get ready with my mom, sisters, nieces and mother-in-law!

Our ceremony was short and sweet. We had my best friend since first grade and Jeremiah’s nephew officiating our ceremony, which was so memorable! The most special part of my day was the moment they opened the doors for me to walk down the aisle with both my parents. It was incredibly emotional and beautiful.

Our reception was so much fun! Our first dance was beautiful. Then, we did the father of the bride and bride dance, and the mother of the groom and groom dance. I took a second to say a couple words of appreciation to everyone there and gave a special thank you to my mom and surprised her with a mother of the bride and bride dance.

We danced the night away after that. Toward the end of the reception, my sisters and I surprised Jeremiah and our guests with a dance! I’ve been a dancer my whole life, so it was so much fun to be able to do that. At the end of the reception, my wedding coordinator got the guests to leave the room to line up for the grand exit; as they did that, Jeremiah and I had one last dance together by ourselves. It was such a beautiful moment!
