Dean is the kindest, most amazing man, and a happy chap by nature. He proposed to me in Prague following a riverboat cruise. He sat next to me on a bench overlooking the river on a moonlit night. The setting was everything—behind us was a red rose garden I had said I thought was beautiful when we walked around in the day, and across the river was a lit-up castle.
The funniest bit was a complete stranger sitting on a bench further up (it was completely dark, so I will never know who he was). After the proposal, he leaned over to see if the answer was yes, which of course it was!

How did you feel in your gown on your wedding day?
I felt “me” on my wedding day, most importantly. That radiated into me feeling relaxed. The gown was easy to move in, and being an older bride, it covered me in all the right places and complemented my figure, so I felt confident and happy.

Our wedding was beautiful! The ceremony overlooked a beautiful secret garden and the New Zealand green hills. The sun shone through blue skies on a winter day, and after we married and walked down the aisle, our photograph snagged a wedding dip shot that was perfection.
We had it all in a beautiful setting: a rustic barn for food, a secret garden for canapés and our brilliant photographer took us to Omaha Beach for our special additional wedding shots, so we were so lucky with the venue and beach.
