Ryan and I met through mutual friends. We had been friends prior to dating. We both ended up at a George Strait concert, and from then on, we never stopped seeing each other.

Ryan proposed in the comfort of our home on Christmas Day. I was totally onto him for the week leading up to it.

Ryan and I settled on our colors before my dress shopping appointment at True Society in Mesa. As soon as I saw the All Who Wander saylor gown in the blue colored lace option, I knew it was perfect.

I am someone who hyper fixates on things, so while I was dress shopping, I immediately found the dress closest to me (saylor gown), grabbed it and went to try it on. It was the ONLY gown I tried on, and I have no regrets! I received endless compliments.
HOW DID RYAN REACT WHEN HE SAW YOU IN YOUR WEDDING DRESS?
The gown was nothing like what he expected me to wear, but Ryan absolutely adored it! In keeping with tradition, he didn’t see my gown until I was walking down the aisle.

We kept it western, like our roots. I didn’t want our wedding to feel like we were putting on a show, but to be a time to embrace and reflect our authentic selves. I had the girls choose their own dress, so they felt comfortable and confident. I did as much as I could myself—the florals, some of the decor, menus, etc.
