Surrounded by a glamorous venue, glitter and their loved ones on the most special day, True Bride Hannah and Jay celebrated their wedding with joy and love.

HANNAH, TELL US ABOUT YOUR PARTNER. HOW DID YOU MEET?
Jay and I met online and fell in love so quickly. From our first date, having coffee and eggs, I never would have imagined we would get engaged a year and a half later at the same exact café. It was the ideal place for him to propose as it was so romantic and personal to us.

From the beginning, I knew I wanted a lightweight dress, and I always loved sheer fabric designs that could really give me that wow factor I was looking for. I absolutely loved that Martina Liana style 1752 is sheer lace fabric and has stunning piping with a scalloped train. I hadn’t seen anything like it anywhere. Plus, the detachable sleeves were exactly what I wanted.
I loved the variety of different styles, shapes and textures they had in store at True Society by Tuscany Bridal in Perth. I was able to try a variety of designs and see what worked best with my body, especially which styles made me feel most confident. Sharing this experience with my mum and bridesmaids made it even more memorable.
HOW DID JAY REACT WHEN HE SAW YOU IN YOUR WEDDING DRESS?
During our first look, when he saw me in the dress, he teared up. I will never forget that moment.

Before our wedding day, Jay and I did a Javanese ceremony, as Jay’s family is from Jakarta. We dressed in traditional clothing which made our wedding so special.
On our wedding day, we included many personal touches in the celebration with things we love. We took plenty of photos and served doughnuts and Greek food. Jay and I are obsessed with frogs, so we had two little froggies on the cake! Having our favorite things at the wedding made the day feel truly authentic to us. The most memorable had to be the customized sunflowers on Jay’s lapels and on my veil, and having sunflowers in our flower arrangements—they’re my favorite flower.
It was amazing to see our vision come together beautifully. Everything we wanted and everyone we loved was there to watch us say “I do.”
