CARODY, TELL US ABOUT YOUR PARTNER. HOW DID YOU MEET? 

My husband Adam and I have been together for over seven years. We met in high school, during a concert choir outing. Funny enough, our parents knew each other, but we didn’t meet until the end of high school. Our proposal was perfect. We were taking our annual couple photos with my mom, who is a professional photographer, and before I knew it, he was down on one knee.

DESCRIBE YOUR BRIDAL STYLE.

My bridal style is modern chic with a unique twist. I fell in love with Martina Liana Luxe Style LE1232 the minute I saw it at True Society by Belle Vogue in Lenexa,. The unique pattern of the dress drew me in, because I hadn’t seen anything like it before. I wanted to feel unique and beautiful on the big day, which I did.

When Adam saw me in my dress he blushed like a little boy, it was precious and he loved the gown! Our wedding day was so special. We had been planning it for over two years, and we knew that it was going to be a phenomenal day.

Our favorite part of the day was stepping away with our photographers and getting to spend a little time together, just us two.

We got to go all over Kansas City and take photos. It was so special. When we walked back to the venue, we got to see all our loved ones in the same room. This made us overwhelmingly happy, because it will probably never happen again.
