With decades of experience in turning bridal dreams into reality, True Society store owner Sue Rosenberger is getting ready to expand.
Get to know a little bit about Sue, how she keeps the bridal magic alive and her go-to tips for brides-to-be!
True Society came to the Michigan area just a few years ago with your Grand Rapids store! What do you attribute to your success in Michigan?
I would have to say first and foremost, our team of people who care for each and every bride that steps foot into our bridal shop. We are in an emotional and joyful people-focused business. Without a dedicated and caring team, we could not do what we do.
We love your dedication to creating special experiences for brides! After more than two decades of experience, what have you loved most about the industry and what has kept you in the industry for so long?
This is an industry that thrives on happiness and special moments. When I stepped into our True Society location, I knew that something wonderful was going to happen. I could never get tired of that feeling!
When you know, you know! Tell us about your Novi store. What can brides in Metro Detroit expect from your store?
We are super excited to bring True Society to Metro Detroit. We searched for over a year to find the perfect location that brides would feel special in, and we are excited to share our brand new and fresh bridal shop featuring some of the best bridal gowns in the industry.
There’s nothing more exciting than fresh looks in a fresh store. What sets True Society apart from other bridal stores?
At a True Society shop, we do much of the work behind the scenes before the bride ever arrives. Brides are not expected to search through thousands of bridal gowns to find their dream dress…that can be overwhelming and stressful. The designers we carry spend months testing and evaluating hundreds and hundreds of bridal gown designs to ensure we can deliver the best in the industry. These include a variety of styles, price points and a full range of sizes.
Truly, no detail is overlooked! Okay, we’re dying to know, what’s your best piece of advice for brides-to-be shopping for a wedding dress?
Come with an open mind, listen to your heart and don’t be surprised if you fall in love with your dream dress on your first visit. It happens all the time!
What wedding dress trends are you loving the most right now?
I’m loving the new version of bridal gown fabrics; organza, brocades, textures and modern laces. I also absolutely love the basque/drop waist silhouettes returning to bridal style.
