ASHLEY, TELL US ABOUT YOUR PARTNER.

Ethan is my greatest adventure and my safest place all at once. He’s my teammate, my biggest supporter, and the person who reminds me that life isn’t just about working hard—it’s about building a beautiful life together. He encourages every dream I have, whether we’re traveling the world, skiing together, raising our dogs, or simply laughing at home after a long day.

HOW DID YOU MEET?

Ethan and I met on Hinge in August 2024. Since I’m a chiropractor, Ethan’s very first message to me was, “I’m a broken man.” I couldn’t help but laugh, and replied, “We’re all a little broken.” That one witty message started a conversation that changed both of our lives. Our first date was mini golf at CJ Barrymore’s, followed by a ride on the Ferris wheel and our first kiss. By our third date, our dogs had already met, and everything just felt effortless from there.

WHAT WAS YOUR PROPOSAL LIKE?

When Ethan proposed, he gave me one of the greatest gifts he ever could have. Before asking me to marry him, he visited my dad’s memorial plaque in Snowmass, Colorado, and asked for his blessing. My dad passed away when I was three years old, so knowing Ethan took the time to include him in such a meaningful way is something I’ll cherish forever. It was the most thoughtful expression of love—not just for me, but for the people and experiences that shaped who I am.

TELL US MORE ABOUT YOUR WEDDING.

Our wedding was intentionally designed to tell our story. Every detail reflected who we are as a couple and the life we’re building together. We chose a mountain-inspired wedding because our greatest adventures have always been outdoors, and the mountains hold a special place in both of our hearts. Ethan even built our ceremony arch by hand, making one of the most important parts of our wedding something he created himself. Having my mom design all of our florals made every arrangement even more meaningful, knowing they were created with so much love.

Our ceremony was especially personal because we blended both of our family traditions. We exchanged private vows before the ceremony, signed our ketubah with our parents and witnesses, included an Irish handfasting, and had our mothers wrap us in Ethan’s family’s Jewish prayer shawl during the ceremony. We also invited our closest family and friends to bless our wedding bands before we exchanged them, and Ethan ended the ceremony by breaking the glass. It was incredibly important to us that every tradition represented not only where we came from, but the family we were creating together.

One of the most meaningful parts of the day was simply seeing everything come together and finally marrying my best friend. Walking down the aisle and seeing Ethan’s face is a memory I’ll treasure forever. After months of planning every detail, nothing compared to that moment. It reminded me that while the flowers, the dress, and the décor were all beautiful, they were never what the day was truly about. It was about standing in front of the love of my life, surrounded by the people who love us most, and beginning the greatest adventure we’ll ever share as husband and wife.

DESCRIBE YOUR BRIDAL STYLE.

My bridal style was glamorous, feminine and inspired by nature. I wanted a gown that celebrated the beauty of the female form with a structured corset, breathtaking detailing, and an unforgettable train, while still feeling elegant and refined. I love sparkle, intricate beading, and floral appliqués, so I wanted a dress that had a little bit of “va-va-voom” while still feeling soft, romantic, and timeless.

More than anything, I wanted Ethan’s first thought to be, “Wow… that’s my wife.” I wanted to take his breath away. I wanted to feel sexy, beautiful, powerful, and graceful all at once. I didn’t want to look like someone pretending to be a bride—I wanted to look like the most elevated version of myself. I wanted my outward appearance to reflect the confidence, strength, and femininity I had spent years building within myself.

Martina Liana Style 1870 was everything I had envisioned. In fact, it was the very first dress I ever saved when I started looking. I fell in love with the structured corset, the soft nude lining, the incredible floral appliqués, the shimmer, and the dramatic train with the buttons cascading all the way down the back. It struck the perfect balance between glamour and romance, embracing the curves of the female body while still feeling inspired by nature.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR DRESS SHOPPING EXPERIENCE AT TRUE SOCIETY.

My experience at True Society was incredible. My bridal stylist made me feel beautiful, comfortable, and confident from the moment I walked in. She encouraged me to explore every silhouette so I could be certain I had found the dress.

I arrived with a photo of the dress I had been dreaming about—Martina Liana Style 1870. It was actually the very first wedding dress I had ever screenshotted for inspiration. Even though it was my favorite, I was nervous to try it on because I wasn’t sure that style would look good on me.

After walking through the showroom with my maid of honor, my little sister Lauren, I selected eight dresses. My stylist asked which one I loved most, and I pointed to Martina Liana Style 1870. When I admitted I was almost afraid to try it because I loved it so much, she smiled and said, “If this is your dream dress, this is the one you should try on first.”

She was absolutely right.

The moment I put it on, I knew. I still tried on the other dresses, but nothing compared. Then my stylist added the cathedral veil I had chosen, and when I looked in the mirror, I was completely stunned. I never imagined I could feel so beautiful. I cried tears of pure happiness—not just because I would get to walk down the aisle to the love of my life in this dress, but because, for the first time, I felt like my outward appearance perfectly reflected who I had become on the inside.

When the dressing room curtain opened so my mom and bridesmaids could see, every single one of them started crying too. They weren’t just seeing a bride in a beautiful dress—they were seeing me. This dress became so much more than a wedding gown. It became a symbol of my journey, my growth, and the woman I had worked so hard to become.

HOW DID YOU FEEL IN YOUR GOWN ON YOUR WEDDING DAY?

On my wedding day, I felt like the truest version of myself. I felt beautiful, sexy, confident, and deeply feminine all at once. I was so excited for Ethan to see me because I knew he wouldn’t just see a beautiful dress—he would see his wife. I was equally excited for my family and friends to see the woman I had grown into and the incredible love I was so fortunate to find.

For the first time, I felt like the person I saw in the mirror perfectly reflected who I had become inside. It wasn’t just my dream dress—it helped me feel like the woman I had always dreamed of becoming.

HOW DID YOUR PARTNER REACT WHEN THEY SAW YOU IN YOUR WEDDING DRESS?

When Ethan saw me walking down the aisle, the look on his face said everything. I could see the excitement, admiration, and overwhelming love in his eyes. In that moment, nothing else existed. I knew he wasn’t just seeing the dress—he was seeing his wife. It’s a moment I’ll treasure forever because it reminded me that all the excitement of planning had led to what truly mattered: marrying my best friend.
