SWEEPSTAKES OFFICIAL RULES FOR EU RESIDENTS (“Official Rules”) – Germany
 
The organizing company and sponsor for the Sweepstakes is Fashion Department Berlin GmbH, Gertraudenstrasse 10, 10178 Berlin (“Sponsor”).
 
The Sweepstakes are taking place at True Society – Berlin, Located Inside Hochzeitshaus, Gertraudenstrasse 10, 10178 Berlin Mitte (“Participating Store”).
 
By participating in the Sweepstakes, the entrant agrees with the following terms and terms and conditions:
 
ELIGIBILITY:
This sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is open to legal residents of Germany, who are at least eighteen (18) years of age as of the date of entry. Employees of the Sponsor, and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, and the immediate family members (spouses, parents, children and siblings and their spouses) and household members of each (whether related or not), are not eligible to participate or win.
 
SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD:
The Giveaway will occur at the Participating Store during regular business hours, between Wednesday, December 01, 2021, at 8:00 AM to 11:59PM on Friday, December 24, 2021, in the applicable time zone of the Participating Store (the “Giveaway Period”). The Participating Store’s clock is the official timekeeping device for this Giveaway. 

PARTICIPATION:
During the Sweepstakes Period, participants have to visit the Participating Store, locate the available gift boxes containing prizes. Indicate to the store representative or select the gift box you’d like. Each box contains one of the prizes listed below.  Participants are subject to all notices posted in-store. Limit: There is a limit of one (1) gift per bride.
 
Participation is free of charge. Participants only have to visit the Participating Store and select the gift box. There is no purchase or payment of any kind necessary to participate in the Sweepstakes. A purchase does not improve the chance of winning. There is no legal entitlement for participation or access to the Sweepstakes and legal action for participation is excluded.
 
PRIZES:
The prize/s is/are described below:
There are seven (7) different prizes available to be won per Participating Store. Each prize winner will receive one of the prizes listed below in the form of a gift certificate (“Gift Certificate”). Gift Certificates must be redeemed by July 01, 2022, and can only be redeemed at the same Participating Store the gift certificate was received. The maximum ARV (Approximate Retail Value) of each prize is listed below. 
 
1.     1 – Free Bridal Dress (€6250.00) – no custom dresses, no specials or modifications, dress only

2. 10 – 1 Free Veil from a choice of 3 Styles: AVL 0060 Ivory Fingertip or Cathedral, AVL0041 Ivory Fingertip or AVL0042 Ivory Cathedral (€550.00)

3. 3 – €520.00 USD off Bridal Gown

4. 3 – €265.00 USD off Bridal Gown

5. 3 – €105.00 USD off Bridal Gown

6. An assortment of local gift certificates for services, restaurants, and jewelry (€20.00 to €50.00)

7. Assortment of gifts ranging from (€20.00 to €50.00)
 
Prizes will be awarded only if the potential prize winner fully complies with these Official Rules. All portions of the prize are non-assignable and non-transferable. Prizes pictured in point-of-sale, online, television and print advertising, promotional packaging, and other Sweepstakes materials are for illustrative purposes only. All details and other restrictions of the prize not specified in these Official Rules will be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. No cash alternative or substitution of the prize will be allowed, except Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to substitute prize of comparable value if any prize listed is unavailable, in whole or in part, for any reason. All potential taxes are the sole responsibility of the winners.
 
DISQUALIFICATION:
Any violation of these Official Rules by winner will result in winner’s disqualification as winner of the Sweepstakes, and all privileges as winner will be immediately terminated.
 
TERMINATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES:
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, extend, or suspend this Sweepstakes for any material reason, in particular if a secure, fair, and proper conduct of the Sweepstake is affected. In such case, Sponsor will select the winner(s) from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Sponsor. Sponsor does not assume liability for lost chances of winning.
 
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
The Sponsor, its subsidiaries and affiliates are not liable for are not responsible for: (i) lost, late, misdirected, damaged or illegible entries; or (ii) error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site or any combination thereof; or (iii) any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in the Sweepstakes. Sponsor is only liable in case of intent or gross negligence. For any damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health the Sponsor is also liable for ordinary negligence. Above that the Sponsor is liable for any culpable breach of the essential contractual obligations. Essential contractual obligations are those obligations necessary to conduct the contract and whose adherence the entrants can reasonably rely. This clause does not affect responsibility under product liability legislation.
 
GOVERNING LAW:
These Official Rules shall be governed by laws of Germany.
 
MISCELLANEOUS:
The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. These rules can be amended any time by the Sponsor without notification, provided that such amendments are necessary in order to assure proper and safe conduct of the Sweepstakes, and to prevent misuse or fraud in particular.
